Excite's been real screwy lately. a couple weeks ago they were going through a bunch of upgrades and cleaned out their database of everything but index pages. I was going from #1 one day to "no where to be found the next", then back to #1 again...........suposidly their working on rebuilding their data base....They've always been real slow at listing "new" submitions" (first time i submitted it took 6 weeks for them to list me).

my advise ? submit a few pages (less than 25) and see if they're there in 3 or 4 weeks.
