Over the past couple of years I've seen numerous companies
try to re-invent the editorial process for their web sites,
fail dismally, and finally abandon any thoughts of improvement
and turn it all over to editors and librarians out of the
print world.

The librarians in particular are prone to seek out ways
to classify, and structure seems to be one of their coming
tools. Believe there is a bunch of VERY dry technical stuff
coming out of the Dublin Group (?) in Ohio (?). Can find
some refs if you're interested.
