As it turns out, the inktomi datbase for yahoo is a totally separate system from hotbot's since the demand from Yahoo is hudge. So, the newly founded database is slowly replicating across from Hotbot and I guess will take some time to be fully in sync with the one HotBot uses. Once they are in full sync, they then plan to have hotbot and yahoo share each one of the databases. I guess you can call it a transitional period for Inktomii as they bring new databases on-line to satisfy all thier partners.
