Yes. In that case your index.htm page would probably be a generic "welcome" page with links to each of the pages devited to a certain musical style. Those pages would have individualized meta tags, their own content, and links to any of their related information pages. These aren't "feeder pages" - a feeder or doorway page exists only to direct traffic to the real target and fool robots, with no useful content. On a multi-topic site, any 2nd-level page with a lot of specific content will soon be getting more traffic directly to it than the generic main page.
