Doorway pages

Hi all,my question is..I have heard that it might not be a good idea to name your doorway pages index#.htm
I am not real sure where I saw something about this but they were saying that several of the engines will over look these type of listings because so many people were spamming with it.
If any of you have any input on this I would appreciate it.
