While it's on my mine

When you are searching for what ever, you always find dead links. I learned something from this and want to share it. To have a good web site you always want to change things or replace content (page) with more content(another page). So what happens when people replace pages, they get dead links. It baffles me because you don't if that link still comes up on search engine list for certain keywords or if another web site has you linked from their page.
So here's the solution, it is simple. Don't delete old pages, just delete all content and have it automatically send the viewer to entrance page or whatever page you want. It won't take up any more space and it might get more traffic that you would have otherwise threw away.
