I understand your fustrations. When I submitted my friends site I did not have a clue what would happen. But they suprised me and put him in serveral categories. His site is a humor site, Yahoo listed it in several humor categories, which happens to be popular. When I get ready to submitt my site I think it will get listed because I will be competing in a less competitive category.

You maybe competing in very saturate market. So what I would recommend you do is ...Post a new message and ask for people to review your site and tell you what they think it will take to get Yahoo's attention.

When I submitted My friends site to Yahoo,they ask for suggestions, I suggest that they make a new category for anti-telemarketing, since everyone in the USA can associte with those annoying calls. To my supprise they did it. So you need to be creative on how you can convince them on putting you in or making a new or unique category. You can't get mad at Yahoo when they probably have 1000's of stock related sites. Can't fit them all on one page. That's why they have categories. :)
