Can anyone confirm the rumor that Yahoo! is going to start indexing only top domain names and not subdirectories?

For example:

www.domain.com

would get through, whereas

www.domain.com/subdirectory/

would not. I read this in a marketing newsletter yesterday and wondered if it was true. This might make Yahoo!'s content more "pure" but it also means bad news for a lot of people if it's true.
