Yikes! Copyright is copyright. While I haven't known the full body
of copyright law for a few years, I doubt the basics have changed.
Who you are makes no difference. Attribution (giving credit) makes
no difference. These things are not a defense. It is quite literally
"the right to copy," in any way.

"Fair use" is a small loophole, mainly granted with reviewers in
mind. Fair use generally means:

Poetry or music: 2 lines
Text: 1 paragraph
