This makes much more sense to me. Not because it is to my benefit, but simply because of the situation at hand. Some information should not be considered owned by those presenting it. I noticed the part about "type of work" in the laws. Drawing attention away from the source was not something I thought about. Your point about listing with search engines is a very valid one.
