At first I thought it was because these people did not have flash, but after testing it last night at my friends who has flash, I as baffled!!! I worked fine for me with the following configurations: Both IE 5.x and NS 4.7 w/Flash, Win 98, T1 connection. Make sure the connection from the splash page to the main site is not browser/OS/plug-in/connection/etc. specific.
