Nice site!

Since job resources are always interesting, I think you should send press releases to career magazines plus Michigan papers, magazines, and radio stations about your new service.

Just a few tips: Keep it to one page, give it a reader-grabbing headline ("Hate Your Job? Find a Better One on Michijobs.com"), address it to particular editor (not "Sir or Madam"), include your contact information.

Also, you can trade links with other Michigan-related sites. When I started publicizing one of my sites, BadAds.org (which I have to brag is a Yahoo Pick of the Week for the week of 11/13!), I traded links with other sites about advertising, privacy, consumer protection--anything remotely resembling the topic of my own site. Get creative! Use Linkpopularity.com and plug in the name of a competing job site. The sites that pop up are potential candidates for exchanging links.
