>I need to create a search page to correspond with a Microsoft Access database. I just need one page that can do a combined search of certain fields in my database using drop down menus and check boxes. Does anyone out there know of an affordable service for this? I really don't think I want to do this part myself. I started to try with Access but they're telling me (in my 400 page book) that the searcher would actually need to have Access installed to see the results. Please let me know if there is a company that can help. Thanks a bunch!

For an easy tutorial/sample go here
http://www.asp101.com/samples/index.asp and specifically here
http://www.asp101.com/samples/db_search.asp.

The end user does NOT need to have Access installed on their machine. In fact the server does not even need Access installed. On a Windows machine running IIS the drivers are already installed.

The whole process is very easy, you can do it.
Step 1: print search form, this is just html.
Step 2: connect to database, 4-5 lines of code.
Step 3: query database, 1 line of code.
Step 4: close db connection, 2 lines of code.
Step 5: print results, this is just html.
