To get linked you have to put that other domain on the website.

And do the same the other way around.

Are both of your domains under your name and address?

If so you might want to make one your company and another one the address of a po box or something.

So just in case if you have the same keywords on different domains the agents or real people may see its the same owner and might think you are trying to get better relevance with many domains. So keep your domain "WHOIS" info different from each other.

If you have already done that then you can link to each other.
So you can sell XYZ with a link or a banner ad for the other domain.
and vice versa. After this submit both and they will gain popularity
on the SE index.

Make the keywords a little different so that both have the possibility of being in the same ranking. read the WebPosition Gold website info and glean all the info from that.
