I would have the shopping cart be the first place that the customer goes to after the splash page. The put the store info on an "about us" page. The shopping cart is not that easy to use. It is slow, and it is not obvious how to use it. I did not follow it through, but do you take secure online payment? If so, it needs to be "painfully" obvious.
