>Its a good looking site. Couple of suggestions; you can repeat key words several times in your meta tags. You should include an explanation paragraph on the front page like you have on the interior pages. This will help in the search engines and it will help your visitors know what is going on. Right now theres nothing on the front page telling me your in the New England area. Lastly I like the color scheme/design you used on the Skiing page, this might look good across the whole site as it really gives that "Alpine" feel. Oh yeah and keep the hiking feet they look good.

Hi David!

Thanks a lot for your advice. I've applied much of what you said including explanation paragraphs on the main page. I can't believe I overlooked stating that AlpineZone.com was a New England-based resource! I have also repeated keywords a bit in my meta-tags and now AlpineZone.com is #6 on AltaVista when you search on "new england skiing"! I plan on rotating the color schemes seasonally to keep the site "fresh", except for the skiing and hiking sections which will generally remain as they are. Thanks again for all of your helpful information!

Regards,

Greg Blasko
