Sorry, I do not agree. I have had great success with framed pages in search engines, and is sometimes using framed pages as doorways. This is what needs to be done:

1.You will need to use a good title, description and keyword tag.
2.Make sure you put in some keyword rich content and links to related sites in the noframes tag (actually you can use the body tag also, this will be indexed by some engines).

Most browsers today are capable of reading frames, so this will not make any problems for the average surfer.
