Thanks for the feedback all.

The gist of it seems to be... (comments/observations appreciated)

Of the 15 Major Search Engines, GoTo allows bidding on keywords, actual 'pay for performance' method. Looks to be a fairly decent 'bang for the buck' yes? no?

Of all the rest, the standard CPM model for Ad buys is in place where you can buy ad banner placement above search results for the specific keyword combinations (if the keyword combination you want is available), with the CPM prices varying for each of the major SEs. Minimum ad buys for this model vary from $1,000 to $3,000.

Thoughts on these? Does this seem to be a fair appraisal of the standard 'bang for buck' issues on SE keyword buying?

Lastly, anyone got a link to any advertising sites that list the going CPMs across the major SEs? Or do I need to call or e-mail them all individually to get the particular prices for the keyword sets that I want to get my ads up on?

Regards all,
