DMOZ track the url, they do a whois lookup, they know if you have listings in more than one category and the database keeps track of comments from the editors. They know when it was submitted who reviewed it and when, if it was deleted for what reason, on what date, etc. They emphasize the most important resource the editors have is each other and communication - and they do. Do not spam them.
