>I specifically want to market my web site to companies in the UK and Europe, at present the vast majority of my enquiries come from the USA, but at present we do not have the resources to meet the demands as we are a small roller manufacturing company based in England. However, we do want to operate in Europe and we do want to take advantage of European Community legislation.
>Any suggestions on how to promote a web site to European companies would be most welcome. I undersatnd that Yahoo has created directories for the likes of France, Italy, Spain etc, but would a .com or a .co.uk web site be allowed a listing in these directories.
>Does anyone know of any Europe specific search engines and directories, the only one I am aware of is EuroFerret.
You should market it offline more than online.Go with classifieds, press releases, radio,tv,FOD,direct mail, print ads, flyers, fax blasting,ect.. Most of my advertising comes from all of those and let me tell ya,its generates a lot more prospects.
Remember most of the people you sell to spend most of their time offline.
