Visitors won't be able to help looking at the site content while searching for the ticket, and they may see some information that catches their eye while they're there. I say go for it.

>Hi Linda - Thanks for your response! Do you think I should offer some sort of initial clue as to the lift ticket location? Perhaps something like "look in the largest New England state", and then place the icon on a page relating to Maine? Or maybe have them research something about New England ski areas on AlpineZone.com...like, "the resort with the most vertical has the lift ticket"? Any other ideas to make this contest more interesting?

Hi - it's me again. How about placing the lift ticket icon on the page of the resort offering the passes, and then give a very vague clue for finding the lift ticket? That way people will not only be excited by finding the lift ticket, but also by finding out which resort the lift tickets are for. I'm liking this "lift ticket hunt" more and more...

Any thoughts?
