>I have 2 questions. 1.) I have 3 URLs www.chefjoel.com,www.soireesbythebay.com and www.sfbayareacatering.com. They are all the same company and deal with catering. Will the robots react to them differently and will they see the key words or should the key words be seperated? I have one site now but don't know the best URL to use. Based on your advice I will create 3 sites and link them together. Any specific advice here? 2.) I'm confused about web hosts. I can pay and have chefjoel.com as my URL. Or I can use a free service and have chefjoel.tripod.com. Or I can refer sfbayareacatering.com to chefjoel.tripod.com. Do the robots care. Which is best? If these questions have been previously answered please point me to the proper place and I will burn a candle and sacrifice a small loaf for you. Any help would be appreciated. I am new to web sites and have looked but have not found answeres to these questions. Thanks.

It depends if the search engine is check by hand or by robot.

Look on one the past messages here(2 months back?). Someone had 2 domains and the yahoo people
would check the WHOIS to see if a person owns a site or more.
I would think they might only check by hand if a site meets a certain criteria
Such as trying to use certain keywords on multiple domains owned by one person.

I could be wrong but this is how I understood it.

So to be safe I guess you could change the whois domain info so each is different.

And if you link them together make them seem like affiliates promoting each other instead of being the same.
(Ask Jim the owner of this site. He has been doing this for a long long time.)
