Searing brings up more than expected From Inachu at Help Desk Club on 22 August '00 I was just searching for old computer games. My search term is gauntlet2 and on looksmart it brought up things I think should be only viewed on a local network. Link: http://www.looksmart.com/r_search?l&iadb&key=gauntlet2&search=0 It gave a lot of directories. Pictures which could be considered company private info. The paticular site could have been kept out of the search engines they used the robots.txt ........ Is it because the web admins are really novices? Or the company just doesnt care? Depending on security not having robots.txt could be what your competitior is looking for and to take your customers. But anyway back to the guantlet deal. Is there a server statistics progam called gauntlet? Or am I just barking up the wrong tree? Inachu
