How long should I wait?

Hey everyone,

I submitted my site to the search engines 24 days ago. I am only averaging about 20 hits each day.

My question is -- Since many search engines did not index my site, do I just wait and wait and wait.
OR do I re-submit after 6 weeks or so?

Altavista indexed my main site, but why isn't the rest of my pages up? "Scooter" should find them
easily.
