Hiding keywords using near-identical colour to background colour
From Mark Rosselli on 6 July '01
When Jim wrote his promotion tutorials he pointed out that the robots had become wise to keywords being hidden in <BODY> by being coloured the same as the background. He noted, in passing, that some people were experimenting with using a font colour that was minutely different from the background colour - enough to render the multiple keywords invisible to the human eye against the background, but sufficiently different for the robots to regard them as valid text. Does anybody know whether this particular trick still works - or have the robots wised up to this one too?
