I am seeing more and more site that run like this.

So far I've seen Microsoft, Tripod, Altavista.

Not only is this good. for the programmer it is good for the
computer techie as well then he will know quicker where things
are for his clients

Client: I need my ski merchandise server moved. On what server is it?
Techie: On the SKI server!

I am sure since I have seen subdomains listed on google that they
should also popup on yahoo. Even virtual subdomains get listed as
well. a good example is my tripod account:

http://members.tripod.com/inachu/ Gets listed also as:
http://inachu.tripod.com/
