First off just about every word on a website is a key word.

With this in mind you have to start smart if you are doing things from scratch!

If so then make sure your domain name can be used as a keyword.

For example a site for dogs

www.dogs.com/dogs/chow/chow.html

so if someone searches for just dogs they will be swamped and you might
not get listed under dogs because dogs tis too general of a topic
so we use folders as key words to pinpoint the topic.

Then customize each html file for each type of dog.
and put meta tags inside each html file and do not duplicate or it could be
considered spamming the search engine. So the best way to prevent this is not
\
to have the chow NOT point to other dog types but point it back to a menu or
back to the main index.
